We are looking to expand our current board of trustees to include someone who can bring with them some background or knowledge of financial management, statements and accounting, The right candidate needs to be able to work in harmony with the existing trustees and be focused on the stable future and continued existence of the Trust. Great Bow Wharf in Langport was restored using sustainable techniques and local, natural materials, The Warehouse at Great Bow Wharf, on the bank of the River Parrett, now serves as a thriving centre for social enterprise, with the Kitchen café, artist exhibition space and well equipped conference facilities. The building also has serviced offices/work spaces to rent, including hot desk space, together with meeting spaces for hire. The role of trustee is to ensure that the Great Bow Wharf remains a viable project, and is bringing in sufficient income to cover all maintenance and other costs, and to maintain the building as a desirable and useful community facility. As a trustee you will be required to attend all trustees meetings - these are generally held every 3 months at Great Bow Wharf, Langport. Somerset Business Agency are the company that manage the building on on a daily basis on behalf of The Warehouse Trust and have their office within Great Bow Wharf. A report of all activity is compiled and sent by them to the board on a monthly basis. To be a part of the smooth running of this community building and be focused on the stable future and continued existence of the Trust. As a trustee you will required to attend board meetings approximately every 3 months
