About Gardening together

Sharing a garden with gardening together is a brilliant opportunity for community-spirited people who are looking for a space to grow their own produce. How does it work? After signing up as a volunteer gardener that we call Frustrated gardeners you can find the perfect garden via our map and you can then connect with the garden owner directly to arrange the share. If needed we can guide and support both of you to establish a mutually beneficial partnership by making a written agreement, which sets healthy boundaries and shared expectations for what can be achieved. How much time do I need? We highly encourage volunteers to commit for a full growing season at a minimum. The weekly time commitment is flexible, as the hours depend on the seasons and weather. The key is to maintain good communication with your wild garden buddy regarding your visits and to set realistic expectations for what you can accomplish in the garden.
