Marketing and social media volunteer

We are looking for a creative and organised Communications and Marketing Volunteer to help raise the profile and support the work of three local community organisations:

• Frome Walking Festival – an annual celebration of walking, nature and community connection, Runs annually in August
• Frome Wild Bunch – a group of climate-friendly gardening experts who host regular drop-in sessions including talks, screenings and workshops, write a column in the Frome Times and host a Facebook group/
• Let’s Talk – a group who facilitate workshops designed to help people communicate effectively and with compassion, even when the conversation is on a difficult theme.

You’ll help share their stories, promote events and connect with the wider community through social media, press coverage and updating online listings.

Enthusisam and reliability are more important than experience as you'll be supported by the council's Marketing and Communications team.
