Ward Tea Party Host

Monday afternoons the ward holds a tea party. This is different from the tea and coffee round that happens daily as we set up in the dining room with table cloths, cups & saucers and cakes, making it a more ‘afternoon tea’ occasion with everyone. This is a lovely social occasion where you get to see lots of people at once, and meet with other volunteers from the hospital. Taking time out to help in a local community hospital, thus having a positive impact on the hospital, staff and patients. It is a good way of getting back into interacting with people if you have been out of work for a some time, which is a great way of getting back into work. It would also be good experience for anyone wishing to get into the care industry. Every Monday 14:00 - 16:00
