About Froglife

Green Pathways for Life aims to enhance the lives of people living with dementia, using conservation and wildlife activities to boost confidence, transferable skills and emotional, social and physical wellbeing. The project also aims to deliver real benefits to local green spaces and habitats, collaborating with local organisations to link in with nature conservation activities across the Frome area.

The project focus is on engaging with people with dementia living at home, with mild to moderate dementia or memory loss symptoms. We also encourage anyone supporting these individuals to attend our sessions, to enable people with dementia to attend our activity sessions safely, and with an additional aim to support the wellbeing of informal care givers.
As lockdown eases and group sessions are once again possible, we are looking at restarting our outdoor sessions. We have guidelines and strict safety procedures in place to keep our staff, volunteers and participants safe.
Re-establishing the confidence of individuals in returning to outdoor group activities is a challenge during this time, but it is also highly important. The support of a willing volunteer activity assistant would be fantastic.
