The Chairman of the Friends of Wells Cathedral is retiring at the next Annual General Meeting of the Friends. Expressions of interest are sought for the AGM.
The Chairman chairs meetings of the Friends Council and its Policy, Finance and Membership Committee. Members of the Council are trustees of the Charity and the Chairman provides leadership to the trustees.
The Chairman also represents the Friends at events and meetings of other bodies.
In addition to the AGM, the Friends Council normally meets four times a year in Wells. Committee meetings are regularly held on an online platform.
