An opportunity for a team volunteering day
Arrival will usually be between 09:00 – 09:30 at the sanctuary. We will then complete a couple sheets of paperwork and then go on a short tour.
At 10:30 our estates/animal care team will show you the activity and give you all the equipment needed.
Lunch is at 12:30 – 13:30 (we do have an onsite café). The afternoon might be a different activity or might be a continuation of the mornings and then the day usually ends at 15:30/16:00.
Always best to bring wellies and wear clothes/shoes you don’t mind getting muddy!
Potential activities could include:
- Painting the decking areas with non-slip paint
- Taking up old decking
- Re-painting our kennels or cattery
- Clearing our dog sensory garden of old plants
- Willow foraging and enrichment
- Aviary repairs
