Winter Drop In Supporter (Short term project - 8 Feb Until 1st April 2021)

AIMS:

Within this project, we aim to provide a short drop-in session daily at connecting during weekdays. This is facilitated by a team of people who are available between 12-2.

The drop-in will have facilities for

·        Hot drinks and snacks (meals not provided by this drop-in, but available at others)

·        Pool

·        Ping pong

·        Reading

·       Creating meaningful connections

·        A confidential space for people to meet professionals.

·        Showering

·        Laundering clothing.

·        Any support needs – ie foodbank vouchers, signposting, access to the clothing store.

·        Accessing post

·        Charging phones

TV / Music or other activities / Supporting Mental health.

Volunteer Requirements:

We don't need you to have any experience, just being willing is enough. all training and support is provided, DBS check and Volunteer checks will also take place.

You don't need to volunteer every day, you can do as little or as much as you would like to.

Covid guidelines:

At all times individuals must be 2m apart, wearing a face-covering (unless exempt). Hand Sanitiser is available along with any PPE you might need.
