Outdoor opportunity working within a team maintaining the railway track
Join a fun team doing physical, outdoor work maintaining the railway track between Cranmore Station and Mendip Vale. Most work is during our 'closed' months, November to February. In the coming months we will be taking on some bigger jobs, reballasting and siding repairs and renewing sleepers.
Excellent way to stay in trim during the winter months (with some ad hoc days through the summer running season). Full training given.

As well as hands-on, practical work maintaining our railway line and our steam locomotive and Signal Box restoration projects, we require public facing roles during the summer season such as Guards, Travelling Ticket Inspectors, Shop and Ticket Office staff.
