Summary

Are you passionate about music, community, creativity and the arts? Join us as a volunteer for the Dunster Festival from 23-25 May 2026

Detailed description

Each year, Dunster Festival — a registered charity dedicated to sharing world-class music with our community — brings together outstanding musicians and enthusiastic audiences for a weekend of inspiring performances in the stunning medieval village of Dunster. Our volunteers are at the heart of it all; your energy and commitment help create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved and the Festival would not happen without you!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

  • Front-of-house and audience welcome
  • Bar work
  • Serving teas and coffees
  • Event setup and logistics
  • Ticketing
  • Manning stands (eg raffle/kids activities) at our Fete
  • Driving musicians from Taunton Station to Dunster

Why volunteer?

  • Become part of the Dunster Festival family — meet new people, make friends, and share the joy of live music with a welcoming community
  • Gain hands-on experience in arts and event management
  • Get involved as much or as little as you like — whether you can offer a few hours or the whole weekend, every bit of help makes a difference
  • Enjoy complimentary access to performances
  • Receive a volunteer certificate and reference upon request
  • Support a local charity that brings music, inspiration, and connection to people of all ages

No prior experience is needed — just your enthusiasm!
