Summary

If you have garden knowledge and experience, would you like to come and help us run our community garden.

Detailed description

If you have garden knowledge and experience, would you like to come and help us run our community garden? We have a raised bed for accessibility and 4 lower beds and are in central Bridgwater!

Gardening is good for you in many ways and allotment gardening offers additional benefits such as easing loneliness and helping you to feel a part of the community. Gardening can play an important role in both preventing and alleviating mental ill-health. The physical benefits of regular spells of gardening also help to keep you fit.

We run the project alongside our Welcome Hub for disadvantaged people on a Wednesday morning 10.00 – 12.00 at Victoria Park Community Centre, Victoria Park Drive, Bridgwater, TA6 7AS.
