Detailed description

“Hi, my name is Mandy - I would like a buddy to enjoy playing board games with, as it would be really fun.” Activities will include: • Helping 'Mandy' to choose which game to play, she likes Checkers and Hop It in particular. • Having a chat and getting to know 'Mandy' over a cup of tea • Having fun as you enjoy playing the games together! • Volunteering within a group setting •


Activities will NOT include: Personal care, medication or financial assistance. If you love playing different board games and enjoy having a chat, you could be the perfect buddy for 'Mandy'!


Free certificated training (with access to 800 plus courses). Free membership to an online shopping discount scheme. Comprehensive support from professional, friendly and trained Discovery staff. Reasonable expenses may be reimbursed at the manager's discretion. An opportunity to gain real experience in the social care sector .A regular commitment would be appreciated.
