Detailed description

The role of the Office Volunteer is to work closely with and provide administrative support to the Volunteering team at Diabetes UK south west office in Taunton. The south west team supports Diabetes UK activity in the region which includes awareness raising, local influencing, volunteer promotion and development, and fundraising. We are based in Taunton and cover Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Experience of working in a team, and alongside colleagues in other teams - particularly volunteering, media and communications. Developing organisation skills and using your own initiative. Developing listening and communication skills, particularly when responding to enquiries. Anything from a couple of hours a day to one day a week.
