Do you like connecting with others and being involved in your local community? We are looking for someone who can support outdoor activities for our members.
We occasionally organise trips for our members out to local organisations, such as the Magdalen Environmental Trust and local farms. We have a mix of one-off visits and weekly courses which run over a period of a few weeks. Planned activities form the basis of these trips. If you enjoy being out in nature and being with people, this could be a great role for you. A member of staff always attends so you would be in a supporting role.
The best person for this role will be warm, friendly and good at being organised. You will enjoy being with people and being outdoors in nature.
A willingness to get involved and be reliable. You may have lived experience of mental health and recovery and be able to share experience to support, empower and bring hope to others. This is valued in Watch.
This is an ad hoc volunteer role so days and times can vary.
