Summary

We have conservation groups every Monday 10-1pm, every Tuesday 10-4pm, and the last Saturday of each month 10am-3pm. Learn some skills and support wildlife.

Detailed description

Are you looking to improve your mental wellbeing? Would you like to get active and enjoy the great outdoors while helping to protect natural habitats for wildlife? Come and get involved in our Monday conservation group and learn new skills in relaxed company. You don't need any previous experience and can work at your own rate.

Since 1996 we have created a species-rich nature reserve on 80 acres of capped landfill. It's a special place and volunteers have played a key part in its transformation.

Get in touch for more information. We have a limited number of places for the group so do please get in touch to reserve your place.

About Carymoor Environmental Trust

Carymoor inspires and enables people to live more sustainably and helps them to feel connected to the natural world. Since 1996 we have created a nature reserve on 100 acres of capped landfill. We provide a range of volunteering opportunities that benefit the individual and which help to support wildlife. We also run school trips, courses, and events to give our visitors a first hand experience of nature and the opportunity to learn about living in a more sustainable way.
