Summary

You will be standing with a collection bucket for a period of 2 hours, chatting to members of the public and being a cheery face for our charity.

Detailed description

We have confirmed the below dates for Bath street collections in 2023:

Saturday 28th January

Saturday 25th February

Saturday 25th March

Saturday 29th April

Saturday 20th May

Saturday 17th June

Saturday 22nd July

Saturday 26th August

Saturday 23rd September

Saturday 21st October

Saturday 25th November

Saturday 9th December

Opportunities for collecting are highly sought-after by all charities. They not only raise funds (some buckets come back with hundreds of pounds in) but also raise the profile of our charity within our local community.

Although this volunteer role is not on-site it is vital to our work and possibly one of the most important volunteer roles we have available.

We ask for 1-2 hours of your day each time (if you are bringing a dog, shorter time slots will be given to ensure your dog's well-being).

You will need a cheery disposition, be confident and polite. Having your own transport is more convenient but not essential. Having a friendly dog to be with you is a big advantage.
