Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic local Bradford-on-Avon and Trowbridge residents to join our volunteer fundraising group.
Detailed description
Although called Bath Cats and Dogs Home, many people don’t realise that the rescue centre covers an area of 650 square miles, which includes Bradford-on-Avon and Trowbridge. We take in many unwanted animals from these areas, but happily many of the animals cared for by the centre have been adopted by residents living there too.
Our volunteer fundraising groups meet regularly to share ideas and together plan fun local fundraisers and events in and around Trowbridge and Bradford-on-Avon. It’s a great way to meet new people, gain new skills, and volunteering is also a great addition to the CV!
The money raised from the groups’ activities pays for food, safe warm beds and expert care for animals at the Home.
We also hope that the group’s activities will raise awareness of Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s adoption scheme, encouraging more local residents to consider adopting from us.
