Help lead a values-driven care charity as a trustee, guiding strategy, supporting governance, and making a real community impact.
Message from the Chair:
Amica Care Trust is a values based provider of care in the south west. You will be joining an energetic senior team who have aspirations to support more residents using excellent staff augmented by technology to improve lives. Our Board is a supporter of the senior team yet holds them to account for the performance of the Trust using the behaviours prescribed in the Charity Governance Code.
Being a Trustee at Amica Care:
As a trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of Amica Care, provide constructive challenge and support to our senior team, and ensure strong, values-led governance. You will contribute to board and committee discussions, review key decisions, and maintain a visible link with our services through occasional home visits. In return, you will gain valuable board-level experience, access to training and mentoring, and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Most importantly, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of care and enriching the lives of older people across our communities.

We want a Board that better reflects the communities we serve. We especially welcome interest from diverse range of backgrounds and first-time trustees and Amica's planned growth would especially benefit from prospects with a proven background of longer- term commercial planning or property management.
