Mental Health Awareness Week

#connectwithnature

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this year’s theme is nature, in recognition of its unique ability to lift our spirits and improve our wellbeing.

This year’s campaign aims to inspire people to connect with nature in new ways and a great way to do this is by volunteering with a local wildlife or conservation charity.

Volunteering can also be hugely beneficial to our physical and mental health, so when you combine the two, volunteering in the great outdoors could have be just what the doctor ordered to improve your overall sense of wellbeing!

Don't just take our word for it - you can read some inspirational stories of those who have benefitted from volunteering in nature on our blogs page.

Want to get involved? We’ve handpicked a selection of exciting opportunities to volunteer in nature below.
