Treasurer for the Friends of St. Bart's, preserving the magnificent Grade 1 gem

The responsibilities are to ensure the accounts are kept up to date and made ready for filing annually. We have three bank accounts, the main one can be managed online (99% of the time). We currently only have around 400 members, mostly paying their subs by direct debit. We have been running around eight fundraising events a year dealing mostly in cash until now but we have just introduced contactless payment. In the last calendar year revenue was only around £5,000. We wish to grow the membership and our income. The charity has four trustees (including the current treasurer) and is run by a very friendly management committee on which the new treasurer would serve. The committee meets around 10 times a year in Crewkerne - although joining the meeting remotely is a possibility. The magnificent church is of national architectural importance and we - along with the new rector - are keen to see it more integrated into the community for the enjoyment of all. This is a key time in the development of this charity that started in the 1990s.
