Summary
We are looking for volunteers to assist with our Youth Centre in Wells, on Monday evenings (term time only)Detailed description
Our youth work welcomes anyone aged between 10 and 19 years (up to 25 years old with a Special Educational Needs); some of these young people can be vulnerable and/or have additional needs.
We provide safe environments where every young person's view is considered.
We ensure continues engagement and participation in planned programmes of positive activities and issue-based work; relevant to the needs and development of individuals and peer groups. All of out activities are designed to develop social and life skills, increase confidence and resilience, and help young people move away from any harmful behaviours.
Our Youth Club programmes are delivered through non-formal educational activities which combine enjoyment, challenge and learning. We want young people to develop hobbies that will last a lifetime, enrich their lives and the lives of others.
