We are looking for kind, friendly and patient people to join our team of volunteer community drivers who will help people get to vital medical appointments.

Our volunteer drivers make a real difference to local residents who would otherwise struggle to attend essential appointments at local GP surgeries, hospitals, dentists, and other vital services.

You can do as much or as little as you want but ideally we want drivers with a fair bit of availability. You can take the longer or shorter journeys and we ensure your fuel costs are covered at 55 pence per mile.

To become a Volunteer Driver, you will need to live in or around Wells, be 18 or over and have:

- A DBS check (we will sort this for you with no cost to you)

- A valid driving licence

- Valid vehicle insurance that covers volunteering

- A valid MOT/ Tax

We thank you for taking the time to read this and look forward to hearing from you.
