Summary

Has the lockdown helped you to rethink your priorities, do you have spare time to support a local charity?

Detailed description

We are looking for Trustees to join our great charity this summer.

This is a really important time for the Pod. Alongside our existing projects we have some great ideas that have come from our community and local partners and we are looking forward to turning them into a reality and supporting many more people over the coming years.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have expertise or interest in any of the following:

  • Charity management, strategic, business planning.
  • HR experience
  • An understanding of difficulties faced by families with disabled children.
  • Social enterprise, community engagement.

Experience of working in the charity sector or previous trustee experience is not essential so please don’t let this put you off. We are looking for people with life and work experiences that can add value to our wonderful team. All we ask is that you have time to commit and empathy, energy and passion to support our work in Frome.

You could be part of the team that steers our charity and its governance at an exciting time. We really do hope that our mission strikes a chord with you and that you will consider contacting us for more information.

Please visit our website for more information on the charity.
