The Little Scrapstore has reopened after a big sort out! We’re looking for volunteers to help keep the space organised & support our work experience trainees.

Little Scrapstore Volunteer Role

There are two shift patterns available:

Shift 1: When the Little Scrapstore is closed (usually in the morning).

Shift 2: When the Little Scrapstore is open to the public every Tuesday from 2–4 pm.

Additional involvement may include helping at Independent Market Sundays and occasional events on other days.

Volunteer Tasks

We are looking for a bank of volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Receiving, sorting, and organising donations
  • Keeping the Little Scrapstore tidy and well organised
  • Greeting customers, assisting them, and taking payments

Support and Team Environment

The Scrapstore Co-ordinator will be present during shifts to support volunteers. Together, the team will also support work experience trainees (adults with additional needs) who are developing their work skills for future volunteering or employment.
