Summary

In particular, we are seeking individuals with experience in fundraising, law, building and capital projects, marketing or human resources.

Detailed description

Following an extensive refurbishment, The Old Town Hall is preparing for its next chapter - a vibrant creative and community hub in the heart of Trowbridge.

We are now looking for new Trustees to join our Board. In particular, we are seeking individuals with experience in fundraising, law, building and capital projects, marketing or human resources. However, we welcome applications from anyone who feels they can bring valuable skills, insights, or lived experience to the organisation.

Trustees contribute their knowledge and experience to strengthen our work, helping the staff team and volunteers to deliver more effectively for the community. As a Trustee, you would take part in between four and eight Board Meetings each year, and also join one of four subcommittees: Finance and Risk, Community Engagement, Building Development, or Fundraising. Trustees share responsibility for collective decision-making, contribute to policies and procedures, and ensure the organisation operates with integrity, inclusivity, and transparency.
