Communications Volunteer

Our project, currently led by Abi and Wendy, is two years old and has an exceptionally well developed business plan with a realistic prospect of significant start up funding. We also need a site, which will be achieved by networking. The community launderette is a surprisingly exciting business prospect that also generates meaningful social capital. Eventually, it could even be a replicable model that supports many market towns like ours. Current volunteers have managerial and financial expertise but we are in need of those with marketing and media talent and enthusiasm! We are pretty well known by town council, business and voluntary sector groups already but less so by the wider public. Hours of contribution are really flexible: you just need to be able to follow through on what you say you're going to do.
