Register Your Interest! We're excited to be opening a brand-new Café at our Yeovil site and are looking for friendly, welcoming volunteers.

The café will provide a warm and inviting space for patients, visitors, staff, volunteers, and the local community. As a Hospice Café Volunteer, you'll help support its day-to-day running by:

  • Welcoming and serving customers
  • Preparing hot and cold drinks and light snacks
  • Operating the till
  • Keeping the café clean, tidy, and well stocked
  • Helping to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for everyone who visits

No previous café or hospitality experience is needed. If you enjoy meeting people, have a positive attitude, and are keen to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Full training will be provided, including an online Food Safety course, so you'll feel confident and supported in your role.

We're currently inviting expressions of interest while plans for the café are finalised. Volunteer opportunities are expected to be available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 4.00pm, with flexible shifts agreed to suit both volunteers and the needs of the café.
