This short training course will help you look at how your group or organisation actively attracts volunteers.
You will learn how to:
- Plan your recruitment campaigns
- Ensure you're ready to welcome volunteers
- Centre your cause
- Describe volunteer roles and set expectations
- Advertise your opportunities and where to do this
- Practice safe recruitment
The training will be delivered by Susi Calder of Susify, who has over 20 years’ experience of supporting small voluntary sector organisations. Susi specialises in supporting non-profits and purpose-led organisations with their governance and is an experienced trouble-shooter, jargon translator, problem-solver, volunteer manager and trainer. She is passionate about supporting people to make things happen and firmly believes that plain English and a good sense of humour are essential to achieving this!
Tickets for this event are available to voluntary and community organisations in Somerset.
