Somerset Youth Theatre CIC is looking for inspiring and forward-thinking
- HR Manager to guide our organisation in advocating for the profound impact of the arts on children and young people.
To join our Volunteer Board of Advisors
Location: Remote, with occasional meetings in Taunton, Somerset, UK.
Commitment: Flexible hours, approximately 3-5 hours per month, with additional 4 x 2hr Board of Advisor, online meetings per year
You will:

Job Requirements
- Experience in human resources, personnel management, or a related field.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A commitment to SYT's mission to empower young people through the arts.
- Knowledge of HR practices in the non-profit or arts sector is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR guidance as part of the Board of Advisors.

- Support training and professional development initiatives for team members.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations relevant to the non-profit sector.
