Somerset Youth Theatre CIC is looking for inspiring and forward-thinking
- Business strategist to guide and support our organisation in planning for the future to guide the organisation through its next phase of growth
To join our Volunteer Board of Advisors
Location: Remote, with occasional meetings in Taunton, Somerset, UK.
Commitment: Flexible hours, approximately 3-5 hours per month, with additional 4 x 2hr Board of Advisor, online meetings per year

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities
As a member of SYT's Business Board of Advisers, you will contribute your professional insight to help guide the organisation through its next phase of growth, in alignment with our five-year development plan. You'll work collaboratively with the Directors and fellow advisers to shape our strategic direction, ensure good governance, and strengthen our resilience as a growing Community Interest Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic business insight to support the growth, resilience, and long-term direction of SYT.
- Advise on organisational development, operational effectiveness, and sustainable business planning.
- Contribute to shaping policies, systems, and structures that enhance impact and efficiency.
- Support the leadership team in identifying new opportunities, partnerships, and income streams.
- Help align business strategy with SYT's mission, values, and five-year development plan.
