A volunteer is required to further develop our on-line presence, increasing awareness and engagement with our target audiences.
Volunteer - Website and Social Media Editor
SLaMS is a small (currently <£25K annual turnover) charity, See our Annual Reports on The Charity Commission website for details of what we do.
As we begin to move forward with our plans to expand our facilities and activities in Bridgwater, reaching out to more people at risk of social isolation, we are now looking for a volunteer to re-invigorate our social media presence.
You will make an impact by broadening the awareness in the wider community of our Men's Shed, its activities and the health and wellbeing benefits that accrue to our members.
.While this role could be undertaken remotely, you will gain much from periodic visits to the Shed and interaction with a diverse group of people, listening to their heart-warming stories and developing the ongoing narrative around our Men's Shed community.
