Summary

Ham Hill is a stunning wildlife haven centred around an Iron Age hillfort. We are looking for volunteers to welcome visitors to our new centre.

Detailed description

If you love meeting people and are passionate about the history and wildlife of Ham Hill this is the role for you. We are looking for volunteers to join us at our new visitor centre.

Volunteers will be the first point of contact for visitors to the centre, helping them have the best experience possible. Volunteers will be able to:

  • Greet visitors and help them explore what it can offer
  • Answer questions about Ham Hill
  • Assist in the shop and exhibition space
  • Handle sales and event bookings

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the history, wildlife and management of this important Historic Monument.

We do ask that you are able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours a month. Volunteers can choose which 2 hour slots they volunteer for - and choose as many as they wish!
