Volunteer members to join the Credit Union Board with a commitment of a few hours each month
The Somerset Credit Union is a Community based organisation helping people to build savings and have access to affordable loans in Somerset. We need volunteer board members who will attend once a month board meeting to help make decisions to grow and sustain the Credit Union for the people of Somerset.
A background in Finance/Business would be advantageous but a willingness to support the mainly volunteering operation is a key requirement.
They are various Board Member roles but in the first instance we would look to settled candidates into attending board meetings to understand what roles might fit best with them.
We are open to applicants from all over Somerset though our offices are based in Bridgwater and Taunton.
