Make a phone call to an informal Carer and brighten someone's day!Detailed description
Offer a chatty phone call to someone who supports a friend or family member with everyday tasks and needs someone else to talk to on a regular basis.
Decide on weekly, fortnightly or monthly calls up to an hour in length and brighten up someone's day.
This is a great opportunity for people to volunteer who are less able to leave their homes to volunteer in a physically active role or are more limited on time.
There are guidelines, DBS, support and training required before undertaking this role. Phone and call costs provided. Calls to be offered in working hours only.
