Join us for a rewarding corporate volunteering day supporting vital conservation and site maintenance work.
Looking for a hands-on team experience that makes a real impact?
What to expect
Each volunteer day is unique. Activities are confirmed shortly before your visit, as they depend on current site needs, seasonal priorities, and the location of animals in care. This means your team will be contributing where support is most needed.
Typical tasks may include:
- Repairing outdoor enclosures and fencing
- Digging or restoring animal setts and dens
- Clearing hedgerows and maintaining garden areas
- Moving equipment and materials across the site
- Organising donated items for retail or fundraising
- Painting or waterproofing outdoor structures such as aviaries
- Preparing barns or marquees for upcoming events
Important information
- All activities are outdoors and involve manual work
- Volunteers should wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing
- Gloves and any required PPE will be provided
- Group size: minimum 4, maximum 10 volunteers
- Typical day runs from 9/10am to 3pm
- Please note: volunteers will not have direct contact with wild animals
At the end of the day, your team is invited to join a complimentary guided tour of the site and treatment centre (approx. 45 minutes), offering insight into the organisation’s work and impact.
Cost
Our corporate volunteer days are free of charge, making them an accessible and meaningful way to support conservation while strengthening your team.

About Secret World Wildlife Rescue
We are here 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year to rescue sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. If you find an animal in need of urgent attention outside these hours please contact your nearest veterinary surgeon. The casualty will then be transported to Secret World the following morning for ongoing care.
We rescue or advise the public on over 5,000 animals and birds a year including hundreds of wildlife orphans such as otters, badgers, foxes and birds of prey, which we hand-rear, care for and rehabilitate, sometimes for as long as 18 months depending upon the species.
