Summary

Volunteers needed for our 3 day family music festival, Home Farm Fest taking place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th June 2025 in Chilthorne Domer, near Yeovil.

Detailed description

Would you like the opportunity to come to a fabulous music festival for free and at the same time support a brilliant charity supporting children around the world ?

If so, then why not come and volunteer at Home Farm Festival 18 from 6th - 8th June 2025.

There are lots of different volunteering opportunities available before, after and during the festival.

In the run up to the event, we’re always looking for people with various skills - as well as muscle!

During the festival, we need stewards, people to work in our bar, in our Tea Tents and our merch and charity shops.

For further information please go to the Home Farm Fest website /Get Involved.

After the festival, if you can help to clear up and de-rig, you’re a saint and we need more people than ever to help with this (often forgotten) task!

Whatever your interest we have an opportunity for you, just fill out the form and we'll be in touch.

About School in a Bag

School in a Bag provide bright red rucksacks full of essential resources that enable poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children worldwide to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves, eat, drink, wash and above all, learn.

A typical SchoolBag contains: 12 pencils, 10 biro pens, 12 colouring pencils, a maths set, ruler, pencil case, 6 exercise books (line/square/plain), a water bottle, a LunchBox and Spork and a hygiene pack comprising toothbrush, toothpaste, flannel and soap.
Our first SchoolBags were distributed in Swaziland in 2009 with Shelterbox. Since then, over 142,000 bags have been delivered in 55 countries including refugee SchoolBags provided for displaced children and young people relocated to the UK.
