We're looking for people to help with fundraising activities - eg running stalls at fairs, cheering runners in the Bath Half, selling refreshments at quiz night
We have a schedule of community fundraising activities which we either run ourselves or are part of each year. This includes the Bath Half Marathon, where we have 10 people running for our charity - we need helpers to cheer them on around the course and hand out goody bags when they finish. Or even run for us!
We generally do 2 Christmas fairs in Frome or surrounding villages, and need helpers to run our stall, selling simple festive items and sometimes a tombola, and people to make things for us to sell.
We have a fundraising stall at our annual community event Frome Children's Festival, and need helpers to take donations, sell items and encourage people to sign up to give regular donations.
We're hoping to run our own fundraising event each year during Frome Festival and will need helpers to welcome people to the event, sell refreshments and raffle tickets and possibly set up the room.
We're also keen to hear from people who have their own ideas for fundraising for us - the more imaginative the better!
Your role will be key to us securing enough funding to continue our services, especially as grant funding is becoming harder to secure. You will be a vital part of our team and the role will suit people who want to support us but don't want to work directly with families or children.
