We're looking for helpers at our activities for families run during each schools holiday, with fun things to do and a free meal.
We run family activities during each school holiday in partnership with Fair Frome and we need a team of volunteers to support our staff at these sessions. Activities vary and may include crafts, cookery, sport or trips. We use different venues across Frome and usually run from 10am to 1pm including lunch. Families attend as a whole, with adults accompanying their children.
We're looking to expand our volunteer team to ensure that we have a couple of volunteers at each session, usually run 3 times each week. Your role will be to help staff set up, support families during the session and help tidy away. The families attending will all be facing challenges and disadvantages and welcome the support we give at sessions, so a kind, non-judgemental approach is necessary.
Volunteers can chose which session they would like to support.
