We are recruiting for mentor volunteers across Somerset. Can you give 2 hours weekly/fortnightly to a young person or child, we provide full support.
Promiseworks is a charity that supports vulnerable children and young people in Somerset through volunteer mentoring. Can you offer support to a vulnerable child or young person, for a couple of hours either weekly or fortnightly? Meeting up for a coffee, going for a walk, a trip to the cinema. We ask for a long term commitment, and in return we offer a comprehensive 4-day training programme, and you will receive regular support meetings from your Area Co-Ordinator. 87% of our mentors would recommend and 95% of our children and young people has said that mentoring have helped them.
