Our watches are 3 hours either morning from 10am or afternoons from 13.00. We are the eyes and ears for the Coastguard, keeping a look out over Minehead Bay.

We are the eyes and ears for the Coastguard and keep watch over Minehead bay, we report directly to HMCG, Full training is given in all aspects of watch-keeping from entries in the logbook, VHF radio use, understanding Navigation charts & Tides, liaising with other search and rescue organisations such as RNLI , coastguard and Border Force.

We are a volunteer organisation that keep watch over the coast and report to the coastguard, we also work very closely with the RNLI and other search and rescue organisations.
