Minehead EYE is a youth and community centre. Work with our team to keep our building and equipment safe and welcoming for all our visitors and staff.
Minehead EYE is a busy youth and community centre. We use our facilities and resources to support individuals, groups and our wider community. There is always a list of jobs that need to be done to help keep our building and activities safe and welcoming for all our visitors and staff. The types of jobs vary from lightbulbs being changed, rooms being painted to fixing scooters, and we are looking for volunteers to help us keep on top of them.
You will work alongside our team to:
- Minor repairs in the building or on equipment i.e. Fixing broken doors, tightening loose furniture, repairing sports equipment, and replacing lightbulbs.
- Touching up painting, removing scuff marks, and maintaining recreational areas in the building.
- Using your creativity to help the team build resources when needed.
- Building new equipment or items for our shop i.e. scooters.
A handyperson with a proactive and can-do attitude would be a great and welcome addition to our team.
