Work with our team to provide a welcoming and resourceful space for a range of youth and community projects run by the Minehead Eye and delivery partners.
Minehead EYE is a busy youth and community centre. We use our facilities and resources to support individuals, groups and our wider community. Throughout the week a variety of organisations use our buildings to house projects and services, this all takes place alongside the activities of Minehead EYE. In short, our centre is used by a wide range of people, and no day is the same as the one before. As a team we work hard to ensure all this happens and are looking for volunteers to help us manage this schedule throughout the week.
You will work alongside our team to:
- Greet visitors, answer phone or email queries, and process payments or bookings.
- Keep rooms, equipment, and public areas clean, tidy, and safe.
- Set up and arrange equipment, or rooms for scheduled events, meetings and sessions
- Assist with basic data entry, room booking logs, and updating community notice boards.
- Help with organising and sorting food and equipment deliveries
- Help prepare refreshments in our café for customers.
Enthusiasm and energy matter more than prior experience, A welcoming and pro-active attitude is a great starting point.
