Summary

If you enjoy driving and meeting new people then this could be the role for you!

Detailed description

As a driver volunteer with MHA you will use MHA's 8 seater minibus to provide transport for our members, this will include trips out for lunch, shopping and/or visiting sites such as Bishop's Palace, Cathedrals and the seaside.

Volunteer driving is a great opportunity to support older people to live later life well, meet new people and provide a vital lifeline in our community.

Your support in the local community will have a huge impact on our members wellbeing, physically and mentally, by making new friends and helping them to gain more confidence in social connections.

MHA Communities Mendip is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults that we are supporting, and expects all volunteers to share this commitment. This role requires a DBS certificate, which will be carried out by our Volunteer Team at no cost to you.
