Summary

To support with the collecting of donated items like food from local supermarkets and donations from local communities and businesses.

Detailed description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting items of donations for use by the charity in support of our work.
  • To ensure that in all respects of direct operations, relevant policies and good practice are adhered to. These include safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, amongst others. For full information see employee handbook.
  • The post holder may be required to attend, from time to time, training, or meetings as required by their own training needs and the needs of the charity i.e familiarisation tests.
  • To establish supportive and effective working relationships with other ITMP staff.

About In The Mix Project

In The Mix Project is a youth and community charity based in Wiveliscombe, Somerset. We provide youth and community provision to children and young people aged predominately between 8 and 25, we provide professional youth work support and advice to young people, relating to issues prevalent to themselves, their communities and their environment. Young people have access to regular youth sessions or projects, which provide informal educational activities, and positive opportunities that enhance their learning and personal, social, emotional and professional development.
