Are you organised, comfortable using a computer and keen to make a difference in your local community? We’d love to hear from you!
At Heads Up Somerset, we’re passionate about supporting people and helping them feel more connected to their community. Our Community Learning Courses give people opportunities to learn, develop new skills and meet others.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to support our Community Learning Manager with the administration that helps keep these courses running smoothly.
If you enjoy keeping things organised, helping behind the scenes and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect volunteering opportunity for you!
📝 What will you be doing?
You’ll work alongside our Community Learning Manager, helping with a variety of administrative tasks, which may include:
- Entering information from course enrolment forms onto our systems.
- Contacting course participants with information about their courses.
- Helping with general administration to support the smooth running of our community learning programme.
- Following the guidance and training provided on health and safety, confidentiality, data protection (GDPR) and safeguarding.
You’ll receive support and guidance with your tasks, and your contribution will help ensure that participants have a positive experience from the moment they sign up.
