Detailed description

Plant sales have been a valuable source of income generation for the Abbey for the last couple of years and we are looking to expand the retail offering to include handmade garden sundries and associated craft items for sale. The Garden Sundries and Crafts Volunteer role will involve making items like bird boxes, bee hotels, willow wreaths, planters and various wood crafted items. The role will also include production and stocking the plant sales area. This is a highly valued role which involves direct input into the Abbey’s income stream and visitor experience. The role is for 3 hours per week, Monday or Wednesday. The volunteer will work with the Grounds Team and be supervised by the Grounds Manager.
