Helping to reduce people's energy bills, and their carbon footprint while increasing health, well-being and community resilience.
Become an Energy Advice Champion!
Help to tackle the energy crisis and lower Frome’s carbon emissions!
If you can commit a few hours a week/month and would like to make a difference to people’s lives, reducing their energy bills and lowering their carbon footprint, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for Energy Advice Champions to work with us to support our expanding Healthy Homes project delivered in partnership the Centre of Sustainable Energy and the Centre for Energy Equality.
You will be a part of a friendly and supportive team, providing energy advice to groups and individuals with initiatives such as our regular drop in energy sessions, planned pop up events, and home visits where we can also offer practical support such as help with setting heating controls and draft proofing. We need support especially during the daytime, and in some evenings and weekends, so everyone is very welcome!
Full training will be provided and hours of volunteering can be flexible.
