Helping people make their homes more energy efficient, reduce their energy bills and stay warm and well as part of Frome’s Healthy Homes project.

Become an Energy Advice Champion!

Help to tackle the energy crisis and lower Frome’s carbon emissions!

If you can commit a few hours a week/month and would like to make a difference to people’s lives, reducing their energy bills and lowering their carbon footprint, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for Energy Advice Champions to work with us to support our expanding Healthy Homes project delivered in partnership with Frome Medical Practice and the Centre of Sustainable Energy.

You will be a part of a friendly and supportive team, providing energy advice to groups and individuals with initiatives such as our regular drop in energy sessions, planned pop up events, and home visits (for those that need an additional support such as help with setting heating controls and draft proofing). We need support especially during the daytime, and in some evenings, so everyone is very welcome!

Full training will be provided by the Centre of Sustainable Energy, and hours of volunteering can be flexible. For those that are interested there will also be a FREE opportunity to complete a City & Guilds Level 3 in Energy Awareness.

If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the Energy Advice Volunteer Coordinator: Caroline Wajsblum via this website.
