Frome Food Network is Seeking financial and budgeting advice to help make Canteen into a viable community not for profit pop-up restaurant.

Canteen – Frome's pop-up community restaurant – is entering into a new phase backed by funding from Somerset Council.

The project, which has so far consisted of 8 pop-ups and over 1,000 people fed, needs to reach a stage where it can consistently wash its face financially. And provide such a model other communities across Somerset will emulate.

This is where we need a bit more help – advice on budgeting, accounting, costing, and generally running the project with the mindset of a not for profit business (if that's not an oxymoron?). Possibly even an algorithm from which we can reliably cost out and price meals to be purchased on a sliding scale.

Hospitality accounting experience would be ideal, but not essential.
