Detailed description
Role Title:
Volunteer Online Sales Coordinator
Responsible to:
Online Sales Coordinator
Location:
Wambrook, Chard, Somerset TA20 3DH
Time Commitment:
Flexible – although we welcome a minimum of four hours per week
Timing:
During our working hours of 10am – 4pm, weekdays
Role description:
To assist and support the online sales coordinator in preparing, listing and dispatching products
Main tasks:
· Maintain Inventory
· Liaise with the shops items to be listed, collected and dispatched
· List new items for sale
· Maintain the sales website
· Arrange for collections
· Photograph new products
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
· Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
· Computer Literacy
· Experience of Online Sales
· Experience of eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted etc
· Great communication skills
· Able to work on their own or as part of team
Training and support available:
All Volunteers of the Sanctuary will be given an induction to familiarise themselves with the Sanctuary.
Specialist training will be provided as and when required.

Ferne Animal Sanctuary cares for over 300 in need domestic and farm animals of all varieties from cats to cattle, dogs to donkeys and many more. Ferne aims to find homes for its cats and dogs and for its horses and ponies. The Sanctuary's beautiful 71 acre site, including a conservation area with nature trail, picnic areas and cafe is open almost every day of the year.
