The East Somerset Railway is looking for more people to join its maintenance team. Sessions are usually on a Wednesday or Thursday
Calling all practical people! Come and join our band of maintenance volunteers. Anyone interested in DIY, working with woodwork/metalwork, painting, mending in the station buildings and environs is very welcome to get in touch. A variety of projects will be available, some short, some longer term with a flexible time commitment.

As well as hands-on, practical work maintaining our railway line and our steam locomotive and Signal Box restoration projects, we require public facing roles during the summer season such as Guards, Travelling Ticket Inspectors, Shop and Ticket Office staff.
